I still think that Shin was conceptually interesting. The idea of making the classic Kamen Rider story more of a body horror monster movie is pretty cool. It's just that the execution was a gigantic mess.

Wataru is the worst main Kamen Rider ever. People get all up in Ryotaro's grill for being whiny, but he manned up way more than Wataru ever did, willingly going into fights he knew he was outclassed in. When Wataru faced a major issue he used Garuru/Basha/Dogga, he awakened Tatsulot for Emeperor Form, he went back in time to make sure he never existed to kill someone he loved, and he made himself King and scared Fangire with just his damn eyes all to protect his older brother.

Yup, obviously emo. Obviously the worst main rider.

Exactly.

It also always bugged me how Kiva never felt like he was actually Wataru. His personality as Kiva always seemed so completely different from his normal, mopey, out-of-suit personality.

Aside from a few shows, TV-Nihon subs are generally bearable.

I think you missed the point of the emoticon at the end of Den's statement.

Kiva, went back in FRAKING TIME itself, to erase himself to save the woman he loves. It's not like he was whining to whine, or was some weak willed dork. He was depressed alot of the time because he had real problem to be depressed about.

I think if I got the woman I loved killed, I'd mope to.

Their subs are fine, imo.
It's the people that make it annoying. (I still stand that if they call Orga "Oga" because that's how it's pronounced, then they should apply it to everyone. Daburu, Bureido, Kalisu, etc)

I got a few more, this time related to Power Rangers theme songs:

Jungle Fury's theme song is absolutely amazing.
The hate for RPM's opening song is undeserved and it's a fantastic theme that works especially well within the context of the show.
In fact I'd choose the official RPM theme over all the demo ones.
Power Rangers Turbo's theme is overrated. I really don't like it.
