Well Jungle Fury made sense with the mentor. LR had one with Captain Mitchell because it was a military like squad where he was the higher up and the same goes with SPD. Some mentors made sense because they were teachers, but Mentor Gi wasn't much of one after Samurai. Super Samurai the Rangers knew what to do and he was just there.
