Like many if this was something they'd stream over on Youtube, I'd be hyped as all hell. But like many paying eight dollars for one show isn't that great of a thing to me. Hopefully it does end up getting a DVD release here in the States and maybe even end up on Toonami. I know if that happened I'd be tempted to watch Toonami again.

During the Spring semester of my Anime and Manga club at my college we did Live Action day and a lot of people end up enjoying Garo then expected. Garo is more mature then Kamen Rider, Ultraman and Sentai, so I can see why people who are not into Toku can dig it.

Well this sucks as I just got rid of my Funimation account due to budgetting. Guess I'll have to rely on Nihon or HorribleSubs doing it.

Not to my knowledge. Funmation stream site only right now. I'm sure though that some group will rip it from there.

Of course Horriblesubs are going to do it. All they do it rip the video from whoever's legally streaming it.

That's what bothers me. Just because it has more "mature" content doesn't make it any better than other Toku. I'm not into Garo at all but the only real reason Funimation is doing this is because it's in Anime form. If not, this wouldn't be happening. Garo fans can be happy about it if they want, but the masses are gonna see this as the standard for the Garo Toku series which is already gonna set Anime/Manga off because it's actual people on screen & if they try other Toku they're just gonna label KR & SS as childish. Maybe I'm just jaded because I don't have the highest opinion of the Anime/Manga fanbase, but I don't see this Garo Anime helping Toku as much as people are saying.
