Wait, so the heads come off? I thought it was like the DCU figures there the head fit completely around the joint.

It fits completely around the joint in the same way that the wrists do. It's a simple ball and socket joint, of which the ball is on a pivot. That's how they get their up-and-down articulation.

Yeah, I know that. However, the heads on the DCU toy line are made so they don't come off without heating the head. I had no idea you could just take off the Figuarts heads without doing the same.

They're all made using the same standard neck joint and quite a few have interchangeable head parts. Just think of it like the hand and leg joints the pop apart, the head is made the same way for interchangablility.

I'm sure I posted pics in this thread somewhere with all the Gokaigers with swapped heads/limbs. I also temporarily displayed Gokaired/silver in that combined form from that DVD thing where they shared a body.

DVD thing? What DVD? I have all of the Blu-Rays to Gokaiger, but there is nothing on them like that.
