All of the Gaim stuff is at or near the top of my list. I just cannot take giant CGI laser fruit seriously. And then there's the DJ Gun and all the damn close-ups of the turntable, which I'm pretty sure was the just the same shot reused over and over and over again.
I wasn't a huge fan of W's Cyclone/Joker Maximum Drive, either. The reuse of the Black RX kick wasn't bad, but seeing W split in half was just disturbing. |

Yeah the Gaim stuff isnt that great. There wer some that looked better than others like Bravo throwing his Weapons that then explode into a hail of needles.
The Final Form Ride Finishers in Decade were also pretty terrible to look at. Especially the one with Den-O and Kuuga...that was so dumb. |

From the ones I've seen I have to make it a tie between Wizard & Double. Wizard just takes a little too much time with his Rider Kick & adds unnecessary flips & junk to it. While Double's are creative for using the half-&-half gimmick so well, any of Joker's Maximum Drives just hurt me watching them. I mean, come on! Poor Shotaro gets cut in freaking half!

If I have to complain about one finisher in Gaim, it's Baron MANGO Arms.
Squash, Au Lait, and Sparking is just a small, medium, and a giant sized version of the Mango Punisher head shot at someone. What the hell. That and that they managed to lose consistency with the Energy Finishers by having so many variations on it now. |

You mean like how Sparking can trigger either fruit mode or a super attack?

It was either Kachidoki's gun (Gotta agree with Switchblade. The close ups to the turntable on the gun practically killed the flow of the fight scene), Wizard's kick (I know most monsters just stand there, dazed as the character preps their finisher. It's tradition. But Wizard's showed off just how long the monster was standing there, doing nothing but waiting for Wizard to finish his dumb ass flips), or Gatack's Rider Cutting (It's just too...Impractical)
Oh, and half of Decade's FFR and Final Attack Rides.

I was referring to (Fruit Energy) Sonic Arrow being able to either do a power shot, trap them in a sphere, or shoot multiple arrows, or do an energy slash... or in Takatora's case, do almost every variation.
That and that Pine Arms has no consistency in its finisher. It eiher kicks an exploding Pine Iron, or does something similar to a Decade finisher. I don't know how any of these finishers work, to be fair. Maybe it's intended that its just a power boost and that its up to the user to use the energy to create unique attacks. |
