I get more of a Kabuto vibe myself, really the only thing that's even remotely Kivaish is the fact that the Belt talks and has his own personality.

Honestly, I'm feeling more of Fourze from it.
The police station is kinda like the KRC with how silly they are, and while Shinnosuke isn't Gentaro, a good chunk of the secondary cast feels like them.
