I just hate seeing Five Nights at Freddie's stuff EVERYWHERE. "Oh hey! We're another first person horror game where your character is helpless!" I feel like there's way too many of those, That and I like survival-horror better, stuff like Silent Hill and Resident Evil.

The issue people have with survival horror is that the ability to fight back a la Resident Evil pretty much reduces things to an action shooter with grotesque designs.
While, yes, Five Nights is basically constant jump scares, the setting and enemies are both something rather new.
