Seeing as she is not supposed to be Black Canary for a few more episodes, I don't think they are rushing it. Remember, some times this episodes pass through real time, so it has been weeks since Sarah died. By the time she becomes Canary, two months will have past. Plus, I doubt she is just going to be 100% agile the first time around.
BTW, did anyone else love West's comment towards Barry, "Something weird is happening, it must be Tuesday in Central City." |

And secondly no. A few months training from a boxer would not put you on level pegging with people who've been trained by military experts or assassins for years. Arguably Roy has gotten as good as he is too quickly, but he's been at the fighting game A LOT quicker than Laurel. If Laurel is shown anywhere near the level of the current vigilantes when she becomes Canary, then the show is rushing stuff to terrible effect.
And to be honest, the "he's Wildcat for crying out loud" doesn't apply all that much either. This isn't the aged man who spent years training Batman and Black Canary in the comics. This is a relatively young guy who just had a stab at the vigilante game once. I'm sure he's a good teacher, but you're putting him on a pedestal this show just hasn't given him. |

Okay, first off I've been watching Arrow since day 1 so your last comment doesn't really apply. I've given it plenty of time and to have Laurel become Canary in half a season is RUSHING.

Also yes, there do seem to be a lot of people with bows. We get it, he's an archer. Not every villain he goes against has to be one too. I think the problem is since Flash came out and gave us that taste of a tv series about a superhero with actual powers using them on screen, Arrow has lost some of it's flair. It's still good, and I watch it all the time, but now it has competition.

I hope they start also doing cross overs with Constantine next year, even if it is just a one shot. As for Arrow's villains being archers, don't blame the show, blame the comics. In the comics there are a lot of archers too, such as Merlyn, Cupid, Arsenal, Artemis, Speedy (Mia Dearden), and Komodo. Plus, there have been plenty of villains he has gone up against that aren't like Clock King, Grundy, Vertigo, Deadshot, Bronze Tiger, China White, etc. |

Are two rivalling networks likely to engage in any sort of crossover though? I don't exactly know a lot about American networks, but on face value that sounds unlikely to me.

It is not going to happen. Cross-network things like that simply do not happen. They aren't going to crossover Constantine with Arrow/Flash. Now I wouldn't be opposed to such a thing as Constantine hasn't been too bad, but networks just don't toss their shows and characters together like that. At the end of the day networks are competitors with one another, in much the same way Marvel & DC will never do another VS event, there's no incentive for networks to in essence advertise programming on other networks.
There was talk of Gotham having a Flash connection just because some low level actor who played Zsasz on Gotham played the Mist on Flash, thankfully that was purely coincidental. God help us if a crossover it'd probably be fucking Gotham & that terrible sounding CBS Supergirl series ![]()

Normally, no, but this they are all DC shows, so if DC demands a cross over episode, I'm sure it will happen.

The comic properties broadcast by them are leased out via contract from Warner but that's it. There is no possibility of a crossover just "because DC said so." DC doesn't even make that decision, Warner does. And even then these companies are not obligated to do inter-network crossovers. These shows are developed as unique entities on each network, they're not set up to be parts of shared universes with these other shows (Arrow/Flash aside) on other networks. It's not built into the framework of these shows.

I'm just hoping for a Crisis on Infinite Earths movie featuring all of those universes.
