Got Gokai Red and Abyss in from Jungle today. Unfortunately, the QC on Gokai Red is absolutely horrendous, his legs are so floppy he can barely stand without collapsing. Abyss more than makes up for it though. I've always liked the look of him in pictures, but pictures just don't do him justice at all, in hand he's one of the absolute best Figuarts I've seen.

I can't say for sure, being sealed in bubble wrap and all. But probably. Joints are normally cast rather than painted on most figures. So it usually goes one of two ways; a pale and flat look, or a very glossy look. I know my MM/ZR have the glossy variety. Some are just more noticeable than others, red in particular is typically the color the stands out the most.

The only color I know that's usually consistent, is black.


From what I've seen, Shinken Red is a good example of both. Slightly different colored elbows, consistent knee joints.

My recent Shinken Gold shaky leg syndrome. Not to mention my Super Shinken Red's broken shoulder flaps, both of which I got at the same time. There's lemons out there.
