That's pretty interesting. Granted, some attacks (Notably the ones you didn't describe) I had to look up, but it was pretty fun.

It's the whole sex vs violence thing. Snake was easily modifiable into a "family friendly" character, he was still Snake, he just didn't use guns in Brawl. But most of Bayonetta's attacks involve her clothes coming off. Even if they removed those elements, it's still a much more touchy subject.
She didn't get into Sega All Stars Racing, I don't see her ever getting into Smash. But it's not like it's impossible.

I've been seeing stories about Smash bricking consoles, but Smash itself isn't the problem, it's actually a hardware error. The error code people have been getting has occurred with other games and the bricking is only happening to users who try to fix it by formatting the system or messing around with the system memory. It just seems like Smash is causing it since it's the game everyone's playing right now.

She didn't get into Sega All Stars Racing, I don't see her ever getting into Smash. Plus the difference with Bayonetta is that its exaggerated and comical, you're not really supposed to find her sexy, everything from her design to her speech to her movements to her attacks is so amazingly over the top the entire sexualization is a huge well-done parody. You can't really say that for Palutena or Zero Suit Samus who really are just being overly sexualized for the sake of being sexy. I don't see why one's OK and the other's not. If Snake can be slightly edited to make a character that doesn't upset Soccer Mums, Bayonetta definitely can too. As for Smash itself, I trained my first Amiibo (Aesir the Pikachu!). I'm ashamed to admit that twice me and my friends lost a 5-stock free for all too him when he was LVL 50. Such an embarrassment! Training them is fun and its cool seeing the progression as they learn how to react to things, but I'm a little disappointed that you can't really teach them combos. I showed him how to throw upwards and then Thunder about 100 times and he never picked it up, so I'm thinking that Nintendo exaggerated just how much an Amiibo can "learn". I've also seen other people report that its not possible to teach them how to meteor smash either. Levelling him up was satisfyingly quick. I think from LVL 1-50 only took about 2 hours. He levelled up about three levels per 5-stock battle, so just shoving him in when I was playing with my friends moved him along very quickly. I'm also a little surprised that they can't join you for 2-Player "Classic" or All-Star modes. Its not a problem for me, who lives with two other Smash players, but I can really understand why that'd be a disappointing and strange omission to people who don't have anyone to play with. I'm assuming yes but since the new 3DS hasn't come out in all territories yet they haven't done so.

Well I'm pissed at myself for never knowing the Lucario Amiibo got put up for preorder and is now sold out.
![]() Fuck man now I'll probably never get one with their bullshit decisions on these...

The New 3DS already has this built in and will work right off the bat. However the N3DS hasn't launched outside of Japan and Australia. |

Amiibo support was technically added a few days ago in an update. I should note that making use of Amiibo support for the 3DS and 3DSXL is done through an add-on, as the hardware in not capable of detecting Amiibos' NFC. The NFC adapter is set for a release in 2015.
