Although I prefer the Banana Arms, Lemon Energy Arms is very toyetic. The deco really shines, no pun intended, in metallic paint. He's one of my favorite pieces in my Gaim display, and this has given me some good ideas as to how to display him.

Whilst the figure undeniably looks utterly gorgeous, Baron has even better looking forms imo and I feel that Duke wears the armour better Also, the exclusivity and steep price make it nigh-upon impossible to get even if I were completely sold on it. (Saying that, what with import taxes and being on a budget lots of figuarts can be a pain to get at the best of times ) |

very cool looking design for what amounts to a last minute closet grab for clothes. this figure will be perfect for possing alongside the upcoming Knuckle. why do cool things have to be con/lottery exclusive sometimes, arrghh.

Not a fan of Baron, but I gotta say the figure looks great. I'm personally off this figure because I've read many peoples complaints about QC issues.

He's just so impressive all things considered for me. I'm a big fan of Baron (tho he's generally the character i would hate) so it's going to make me sad that I won't own this.

I'm struck by the wide gulf between the pricing of Figuarts - probably determined well in advance of their release - and the frequency with which the represented Riders and Arms got used. Shin Zangetsu was a web exclusive? It was seen more often - and was more plot-critical - than Melon Arms! I've been very tempted to go all-in on the various Gaim Figuarts, and the main barrier is the web exclusivity, and the excessive cost that goes with it. The Baron/Gaim two-pack looks amazing... but HELL NO I'm not paying $150+ for it. I'd've liked to have picked up Baron Lemon Energy, but not at *that* price point. I'm loving these galleries. At least I can fawn over the ones I don't get. |
