i like using gaokong (the red repaint of the green gorilla to make gaoknight) gaogiraffe, gaotiger, the sheild half of gaoelephant, on top of the large gaolion to make what i call gaojoust as it looks like a knight with a lance riding a horse |

It would be awesome for keeping the discussion going if you could elaborate. What specific gimmick are you referring to (cause gimmicks weren't really a thing in the 80's and 90's). That's like me starting a thread and saying that I hope there are rangers next season. Specificity is our friend when talking about such matters.

I mean if mechas could follow the concepts from 80's and 90's.Let's just say a old school vibe.

^ What do you mean by "old school", you mean in design or in the way they combine or what?

You're just generalizing. That isn't an answer or a point of discussion. What exactly qualifies as "old school" and or makes it superior/inferior to "new school"? If you can't be bothered to define whatever it is that you're talking about how do you expect anyone to discuss it with you?

I think mechs from the 80s and 90s are blocky and plain. Newer mechs have more personality that reflects the gimmick of the show. How can you not love kyoryuger's or even hurricaneger's main mech?. But like sun Vulcan or even live boxer are plain and I don't think they would be well received with today's patrons.
