I wasn't entirely sure when I ordered it. It's something called a Hyper Hero Action Doll. Basically they're 8" poseable standard bodies that come with costumes and accessories that you cut and shave down to fit the figure. It's sort of like a model kit. I'm not very good at it and still haven't figured out how to attach his cape but it's okay. Kind of like a poor mans Project BM or Real Action Hero

You're correct! Akaranger is the leader for Goranger, which is the Hyper Hero figure there. Aka Red is the 30th anniversary sentai fellow who was also in Gokaiger.

How's the quality? And how much did it cost you? Haha

The quality isn't too bad. The plastic is just a bit cheaper than I'd like it be. I finished building him last night although there was NO indication as to how to attach the cape. There's literally nothing included in the box that can be used to attach it. The 2-sided adhesive tape it comes with isn't nearly strong enough to hold it on. I wound up using a sewing needle to hold it. Otherwise it's a decent figure. I'll snap some pictures of him.
