So much to digest! I loved it, loved loved loved it! Wizard has a big bar to surpass in my opinion. My first Kamen Rider from start to finish ... and it was amazing.

I'm definitely going to need to see it again with subtitles, but I thought it was a pretty good ending. The fights were cool, although after how unstoppable Leo and Sagittarius have been up until now, it feels like they both maybe went down too easily. I don't know, maybe that's just me. The end to Kengo's story was good, but like I said last week, everything about it seems straight the hell out of W (although I really liked the mechanic for it, that was clever). I'm also a little bummed that we never got to see Sonoda again - is she just stuck on Tachibana's satellite forever? Having Nao Nagasawa and Alternative Zero back was an awesome touch, though.
I guess ultimately, as much as I enjoyed it, this really doesn't stand out as one of the great Rider finales to me - certainly not on par with OOO or W, much less the all-time greats like Blade and Black. It was... nice. There were some cool character moments, we got some good wrap-up, and the fights were pretty good (especially Meteor vs. Leo). In the end, though... well, let me put it this way: last year, when OOO ended, I was really sad to be leaving the show and all the characters I'd grown to love behind. This year, I'm not. Fourze was good, but I'm ready to move on to Wizard and I'm not sure I'll be looking back that much. |

It's been quite a ride and honestly I enjoyed every second of it. Characters that I cared about, designs that are both goofy and yet cool at the same time, plus it talked about how important friendship, trust and loyalty are. I still miss W and OOO but I'm going to miss Fourze most of all.
The main thing was you never knew how things went down. I thought I'd be happy to see Gamou go down but after what went down I felt really bad for the poor guy. In the end he was as much a victim of his plan as the others. At least he brought back Kengo before he bit it. |

Huh I just saw the music video for the movie's theme and ... apparently there was a ship for Yuki and Kengo from what I saw.

Goodness what an exhilarating episode! Definitely an exciting, worthy end to a fantastic series.
First things first, the scene with Kengo's final words were very touching, made better by the delivery of all the actors. It summarized how far the characters have come and how their relationships have matured. The action was kinetic and heart-pounding. The relentless exchange of blows, the huge blow by Meteor on Leo that cancelled their transformations and the use of every single States by Fourze were terrific to watch. Just when I thought it couldn't get any better, Gentarou sends Gamou to the school hall and has that emotional graduation ceremony with everyone else while kicking Gamou's butt UNTRANSFORMED. Finishing the ceremony with an amazing Rider Kick. "Representing the graduate class, Kamen Rider Fourze, Kisaragi Gentarou." Bone-chilling indeed. Thanks for a great year, you're a series I'll remember fondly years to come.

A great episode but it's a bit rushed. Gamou changed too fast.

The finale was pretty good; tons of great action with some emotional moments that nicely tied into the heart of the series.
But it did nothing to resolve my isses with Fourze. What about the people on the M-BUS? The remaining Horoscope users could've been interesting backup for Gentaro but instead they're just forgotten and might as well be stuck there forever now. Kengo's return at the end was predictable and lame; one of several elements done better elsewhere. Meteor is still more or less a waste of space I didn't hate watching Fourze but I definitely don't count it among my favorites. |

I need to track down the song that played over the ceremony. Definitely want that on my ipod.
Other than the M-Bus thing not being explained, I've loved Kamen Rider Fourze from beginning to end. That finale did not disappoint me and I'm really going to miss the Club. Wizard has a lot to live up to, and that was before he went around cockblocking Shun >:[

"Bloom" by the Kamen Rider Girls. They appeared on the show during the Prom episode to sing it.
