what series when you first watched it you hated it but on second viewing you actually ended up liking it?

and also the reverse what series when you first watched you loved but on rewatching it was no where near as good as you remember?

for me the series i hated at first but after seeing it again i liked was go-busters.

never gave this one a chance when it was first on and regret it now


and the series i liked first time through but hated on second viewing is probably gokaiger.

it's not horrible but no where near as enjoyable as it was first time through the actual story is sort of meh

Second viewing and liking a season would have to go to Dairanger. At first, I thought it was lacking, but after a re-watch, I really dug it. The rangers were pretty dynamic and the story was so confusing and left me wanting more.

Second viewing and disliking a season is easily Zyuranger. I will admit that I watched it while wearing my nostalgia goggles the first time, but with the re-watch (and after have seen a few more seasons) I watched it objectively instead of trying to spot stuff I saw in MMPR. The season is pretty bad. The troubled kid of the day schtick was very lackluster (although the actor who played ToQ6-go was one of those kids), the running story lines lacked depth, and the season just kind of ended. It was a little disappointing.

So back-to-back seasons that I had completely different opinions on after a re-watch.

It's head design is pretty silly, but I like the sillyness, and it more than makes up for it with it's claw hands and giant stegosaurus tail

Why I feel that Super Sentai are giving a pre-school lesson-type like Dora the explorer like in ToQger Episode 7 when Hikari got angry at Kagura for destroy his Kendama but realize that he shouldn't get angry over one stuff?

Is Super Sentai like Superhero version of any Pre-school while Kamen Rider give us more drama lesson
