For some reason, I feel like this little tidbit was something unintentional and the writers hadn't even considered the implications.

Unfortunately, as far as Drive's character development goes, I have very little faith. 21 episodes in and I still feel like we haven't learned jackspit about Shinnosuke that we didn't know from the first 3 episodes. Most of the time, I feel like Shinnosuke isn't even really a character in the story and is moreso the bridge through which the audience experiences the story. I feel like Chase is suppose to be the 'real' main character.

No we havent.

All the scans show the exact same purple silhouette for the character.

Perhaps after that battle with Chase in the next episode, later episodes they'll talk about more on Shinnosuke's life and how the battle against the Roidmudes will affect his old partner, Hayase.

Yes I have seen those scans and the design of it from that one.



The second image I was reffering to was of this image which has the drive logo and looks like it has the new axe weapon in it which is why I was reffering to two images of it or it could be something else in drive.

And yet I fail to see what exactly you wanna say with that. The silhouette you posted just now is the same as it is on all the other scans only difference is that because of the perspective its harder to see the four antennae.

I was just thinking that that this one seemed different from the other one because it lacked the 4 different antennas on it, I guess it was a matter of perspective and I was Just thought that this one was more significantly different to the other silhouette.

Shinnosuke feels so sidelined in this show. He had this lazy, goofball but deeply regretful persona in about the first few episodes in the series and nothing interesting has happened to him or been revealed about him since. C'mon....
