Shinkenger, Goseiger and Kyoryuger had a new mecha by episode 5. Gokaiger had one by episode 3 and two by episode 5.

That really wasn't new mecha though for Gokaiger. And that show was formed for its gimmicks of past teams.

I could have sworn Kyoryu and Shinken were episode 7. Nevertheless, they haven't even developed the mecha they got in the first episode fully yet. There was no need for another one already.

What happened to Toei proclaiming this show was going to harken back to the Sentai series of the past? So far, I see just as much CGI, if not more, and very little wire fu. Maybe the article was incorrectly translated, but it said they hired new stuntmen so they could have as much wire fu fights as they did back in the 90s, yet, I don't see anything showing such in these episodes.

They never said they wanna do more wire fu and I dont know from what article you got that.

The only thing Takebe said in an interview once was that they were going to do less wire fu and more backflips this season to show what the human body could be capable of.

Yes they were. Regardless of the show's gimmick they had 2 mecha upgrades by episode 5. The same point applies.

Last year, ToQGer had new Ressha in episode 4 (Shield), 5 (Car Carrier), 6 (Tank). I'm not really surprise if they're doing the same with Ninninger, especially with the early appearance of 6th Ranger.
