I wanted a Templar-centric game for a good amount of time now. Ubisoft delivered. They were going somewhere with this. But comparatively, it just falls short from the main series. Literally. Did a whole lot today - 8 or 9 achievements worth haha. Finished exploring and just have the real grindy ones. Like getting enough metal to finish upgrading the Morrigan, looting 20 convoys (I've only done 4 >_<), looting camps, doing all the cheat stuff (and I need 3 more challenges to unlock one of the necessary cheats with none of them being very easy ugh).

Finished AC:Revalations.
I hate this game, yet I can't stay mad at it. The combat's fun, the stealth-style enjoyable, and the story is quite enjoyable...at times. Other times it pisses me right the fuck off. The humanist pop philosophy, the stupidity First Civ crap (you mean to tell me those hyperadvanced fuckers couldn't figure out space travel in time to spare their species from destruction?), the fact I'm supposed to give a damn about the First Civ's inner bickering without a second thought just because INTRIGUE!!!, the fact that what should be a franchise with a universe of complete ambiguity where everything is equally plausible and could all mesh together into a cohesive world of uncertaintity where moralities of everyone involved are grey, slightly darker grey and slightly lighter grey is instead replaced with amoral pricks, nicer-yet-still-amoral pricks and the rest of the world, the fact that I'm supposed to buy the faction names existing since Adam and Eve's snagging of the Golden Snitch and Cain snapping Abel's neck over it despite Templar being shorthand for a rather lengthy title to an order of Knights and Assassin essentially being 11th Century Arabic for "pot head," and all the fucking modern plot stuff that I'm supposed to care about. And yet, in spite of all that, I love playing the games. Last edited by GoseiWonder; 03-29-2015 at 11:19 PM.. |

Working my way through Final Fantasy Type-0. One of the few JRPGs where I actually find the combat so enjoyable I go out of my way to get into battles.

Same here! I usually like to do so, so much more before the ending. It just came up too fast.

Note to self:
Never ever ever EEEEEEVERRRRRRRR go harpooning with a hunter ship after you again! It will catch up. And it will get in your way. And it will nudge you and ruin things. And it might even make you glitch out and send your little harpoon boot flying hundreds of meters away! Say, three hundred or so.

It's kind of a bummer starting with ZOE 2, then going back to 1....
Yeah, 1 is not a very good game. |

So Axiom Verge comes out today. I'm thinking it'll be downloadable by noon today; if not then around midnight then.
I've heard so many good things about this game and after Other M killed Metroid I'm hoping this will carry the torch. |
