There's a good amount of frontrunners that I want to see as DLC.

King K.Rool: I remember the times he's given me both grief and joy as a final boss. Sure he's a heavy villain but he has not be fought in the same way twice(king, pirate, mad scientist and boxer) so there's some room for a good moveset for the once and future King.

Dixie Kong: Out of the four DKC SNES characters her moves were the one I enjoyed the most. Having an aerial DK character could be a breath of fresh air for the Donkey Kong series.

Black Shadow: It's about time F Zero got another rep and who better than the main figurehead of evil in the series? It's hard to think how he'd fight outside a F Zero machine but I'm sure they'll think of something for him should he win the polls.

Rick: To be honest I wanted Coo, Ribbon or Magolor to be here instead of Rick, but in his defense he's a fun character just like them. He could be the pure heavy fighter out of the three Kirby characters already in the series.

Captain Rainbow: It's a shame his game never got over to American shores since he looks to be both a cool and interesting character. He's a small but important part of Nintendo history and he deserves a slot in the game.

Kinda bummed Zero's not on the list, but again there's some good choices on here. Hopefully whoever wins will be worthy of being there and bring joy to both old and new fans.
