I was so happy when I saw the first posting of her Henshin. Because I thought we just might have another female Rider. Then that hope and happiness got shattered just like her suit.

If I had to assume, something to do with her state of mind. Perhaps a lack of belief in herself.

At this point there had better be a more thorough explanation. It takes Shinnosuke like 1 episode to overcome his emotional barriers.

The actual special will, but I haven't seen that about anywhere- just this clip. I think the full thing comes out later this month (correct me if I'm wrong)

I think I might have found out why. It's not that Kiriko is too weak, or unqualified.

She's too strong to be Drive.

Well to be fair every reason they gave would be "shitty" since so many people wanted her to be Drive.
