I really like the monster design this week. The design reminds me of a Nanashi from Shinkenger that got a promotion and serious power upgrade.

Another great episode with some really nice character development. Now I really want to know what is so special about the police force. Are they run by Phantoms or are they actually controlled by the white wizard (or someone related) trying to keep people out of getting involved?

BTW, I want the Figuarts NOW!!! I want to have each form holding a Power Battery for their color (so Ground Form with the Sinestro Corp Battery, Fire Form with the Red Lantern Battery) spouting the oath to those corps. Plus, I want to do a "You Shall Not Pass" one and some other stuff.

Enjoyed the episode as much or more than the first. LOVED the giant hand power. I really hope someone makes the magic portal sigils as an accessory or effect part.

Another really fun really great episode! Really dug Harutos' origin and the White Wizards' design. He's got a bit of an Enternal vibe with the ring belts around his chest. Hopefully he'll be like Skull and we'll see some more of him through flashbacks. Am I the only one who wants old man Wajima to be the White Wizard?

And damn I keep getting hit in the face with how hot Rinko is!

There's a lot to like here.

All the fights were good. One of note is a GOOD bike fight. It's rare enough to see a riders use their bikes at all, so this felt rather special. We get to see Big in action and it looks silly, but cool. Aside from that, just more Flame and Hurricane goodness. Oh, and there's one little bit I liked. There's a moment of wire work where Wizard jumps off Hellhound's sword. It was quick, but I really liked it.

It looks like we might have a Rinko sub plot involving police. I enjoy police involvement in super hero shows. Speaking of Rinko, I like how she seemed to have forgotten she was wearing that huge ring.

I'll probably hate Shunpei 10 episodes from now, but I've braced myself for him being the annoying apprentice. Surprisingly, the major supporting cast looks like they will be useful.

I really liked the origin story and White Wizard looks awesome. I liked how they explained Koyomi's crystal ball powers coming from her being a Gate to.


PS You can tell Haruto is a noob with the ATB system because he can't target other party members correctly.

i am in love with this series, its fantastic, the suit design is gorgeous, haruto is f*cking AWESOME (he's got tendou and tsukasa levels of douchebaggery and i love it)

I think I'm starting to understand how this works. A Gate works similar to how the Singularity Point worked in Den-O. Instead of being able to harness an Imagin you can bring forth a powerful Phantom, if they can make you despair. Or, in his case, control the Phantom and harness magic. And they're going around looking for these Gates in order to bring about more powerful Phantoms.

I think I'm close, anyway.
