Like ToQger, Drive started with a jog before gradually picking up its pace, which isn't uncommon in toku. Heck, everyone says Kamen Rider Blade gets fantastic after 15 episodes. A lot of people tend to expect the latest Rider or Sentai to be awesome from episode 1 onward without any real slowness or fail. Least that how it always seems to me.

I don't mind when a show starts with a job, what I mind is that Drive's slow jog was right down the halls of a remedial clown college.

I enjoyed this episode a lot. I think it's good to finally learn more about Gou's backstory and I definitely think he might be following Sasword's storyline or that he will become a Roidmude later with the planning going on here, and with Brain joining the crew is really interesting. I love Chaser too he was pretty awesome and the Ride Boosters are too. I am very intrigued to see more of Gou's development, as an irrational little brother at times I can relate to Gou a lot and he is one of my favorite riders.
