I think Writer tone down Captain's weirdness because no one take him seriously if he keep doing a weird face but now so far, no weird face.

and plus Kamen Rider Drive Summer Movie doesn't take place in Alternate Universe unlike Wizard and Gaim summer movie!

Also, Shinosuke's backstory continues to be expanded as it's needed to.

Well this was a good episode. The mystery has me really interested in the whole thing. There's a story now that I can enjoy, and the whole show doesn't bother me as much. Possibly because of how they abandoned the MC story and had Chaser become a new rider. Gou's new turn is interesting, and overall this show is good.

I don't see how this is the place to talk about the movie. All we know is it's coming and that there is going to be some new toys for it. Also the captains faces were only part of the problem for the first half of the show.

Oh man, I've been loving Drive as of late. Every single part about this show recently is just working. It's surprisingly taken a very dark turn. At the moment, I'm most interested in Gou's storyline. I've always liked him, and I never expected him to actually take the anti-villain/Kusaka route (although if the brainwashing thing is true, perhaps he's more like Mutsuki).

And I love the whole Fruedian trio thing going on with the three. Shinnosuke, the balanced one, being the ego, Gou, the hotheaded, aggressive one, being the id, and Chase, the stoic, calm badass being the superego. Like Switchblade has said before, trios really are the best way to go in Rider.
