I think we could do with another Rescue team or even the Knights theme or maybe something based around mythical creatures I don't know there are so many options.

Well it'll just be the 40th team, so it won't really be much of an anniversary. Plus I don't really want to have another Gokaiger again, I'm sort of sick of all this seeing past warriors return crap.

Yes, there will be an anniversary, because they celebrate the number of teams, not the years...
Gokaiger was also Team number 35, not year number 35. Same with Boukenger, Gaoranger etc.

As long as it's in a movie and not a main part of it, or in the show, I'll be fine. Haven't seen Gao or Boukenger, but did those shows rely on the whole endive rosary aspect? I ask because I'm kind of getting sick of all these crossovers and such.

They had the big crossover aspects in the movies. I dont know what Gaoranger did besides that but Boukenger had all of its monsters based on past Sentai Mecha.

Gaoranger didn't have anything beside the movie, at least I didn't find anything.

Time Travel. Similar to Den-O in that they go to different dates and stop monsters, not to Gokaiger in that they don't meet previous teams. Also it would use the different years aspect better than Timeranger did.
