Over on Gundam forums, someone posted a translation of the original ZZ Gundam story proposal. It's actually pretty interesting. It's sort of hard to read due to how the text is spaced and the way the grammar flows, but I recommend it to an ZZ fans.

The manga? Yeah. It was released in a really nice hardcover set. The first episode of the ova is out on dvd, but it's pricey.

I was talking about the anime? I notice the dub is on Amazon, but it looks like it's digital only. No blu-ray release.

Did anybody else see this neat little cameo? On True Detective season 2, the main character bought a gunpla to build with his kid. Link to the article for full context as I don't know the show very well.

The mobile suit is Gyunei's from Char's Counterattack. And if you have trouble remembering who he is, he was the older kid in Zeon who got sent out with Quess on the second mission to axis at the end of the movie. I wonder if it has any significance with True Detective's story?
