Which is much more likely. The Project was started as a sequel and developed itself into a different direction.

And I´m completely fine with it not being a sequel. And I dont even mind having to wait for probably 2020 before we see a sequel and the new Batman movie.

So? Its not a problem at all to have them meet first and then start doing solo films. Heck most of my friends hadnt seen Thor or Captain America and still had no problems watching The Avengers. Because Avengers still establishes the characters as part of the movie and as long as Justice League does it as well they dont need solo films before it.

They dont have to slavishly do the same thing Marvel does.

Thats pretty much the internet in a nutshell right now. They are hating on everything DC does even if its something legitemately great like getting Affleck to direct his Batman movie.

That said I still have my reservations about the film.

I dont care about their take on Superman and I have to see more of Lex to win me over. But I had hope for this movie the day they kicked Goyer off that project and replaced him with a different writer.

Suicide Squad is really the only thing DC is doing right now that I'm really, really highly skeptical of. I think most of that group is badly miscast, midget Croc being a prime example. But even if I'm not totally enamored of some of the other stuff, I'm still keen to give it a shot if only because it'll be a different experience than Marvel gives us. I'm actually surprised how much the Wonder Woman costume is winning me over, though I think the skirt could be a bit longer.

With the costumes especially Wonder Woman it helps alot to see it without a thousand photoshop filters over it.

Absolutely. The colors, the details that aren't lost in the muddiness. Although I know we'll lose a lot of that in the film itself, I can't wait to see it all in action.
