I'm not afraid of the badness, I survived Wizard. And I kinda enjoyed it.
But back then it was my second Rider-show and I didn’t knew how good Rider could be aside from Gaim which was very different. So I'm pretty open minded for Faiz. |

Believe me, compared to Faiz, Wizard is a good show.

Yeah, at least that. But it does have moments that are pretty close.

Finished Blade. It was pretty good. I think all the characters are interesting, and they're all well written. The two stand outs for me are Tachibana and Hajime, though I like Kenzaki as well. My one major issue with the show is Mutsuki, not Mutsuki himself, but more the fact that when he shows up he's running away, and being somewhat influenced by the Spider Undead, then to be possesed by it for most of the series, so we don't get to learn much about Mutsuki himself. As for the ending, there's not much wrong with it as an ending. I think it shows how far Kenzaki has come to sacrifice his humanity and leave behind all he's known and loved for the sake of Hajime and the world. It does kind of suck how it's a sad ending for Kenzaki himself, but mostly happy for everyone else, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I think this show handles it's drama really well, like Tachibana and Mutsuki's character arcs in particular. Both always had me on the edge of my seat, and I like that they didn't just delve into melodrama. That's also Blade a whole, it's a very dramatic Rider series, which is a new experience for me, as Fourze and Den-O were very lighthearted. Yeah, Gaim was very dramatic as well, but most of that is because of the complete tonal shift halfway through the series, and because this show has a more consistent tone, I think it works a bit better here. As for rankings? I don't know...as for far they are:
1. Den-O 2. Fourze 3. Gaim 4. Kiva 5. Decade I think I would place it abover Kiva, but I'm really struggling on whether or not I should rank it above Gaim or not.

Finished OOO awhile ago, started Fourze but didn't get through it and somehow ended up watching Den-O. I believe we are about half way through Den-O
I'm loving it!

OOO episode 1:
Pretty good first episode. Kougami is REALLY freaking weird! If I have one complaint it's Over-Time's subs. I don't like that they spell Greeed with 2 "e"s when it's clear it's spelled with 3, or how they write OOO's name as "Os". It's minor, but it still bothered me. There was also some really cool cinematography here, like the scene with Uva, Mazool, Ka-Kaz...whatever cat dude's name- KAZARI!, and the gray dude talking. How they were switching positions mid conversation, it was really neat.

OOO 2: Still good. I like how we got a bunch of little glimpses of backstory here and there. Kougami is still really weird.

I'm not watching it anymore, but I just finished it this weekend so it still kinda feels like it? I watched Blade over a couple of weeks is what I'm saying. The beginning was a mess, but the thing as a whole improved steadily the more it went on. The ending was pretty good for the most part, but I feel there's kind of an Elephant Undead in the room with it, that being, uh, Tachibana? I really don't know what in the hell is up with that and it really distracted me. It's still distracting me. I don't know.
The movie was garbage. Anyway, now I'm watching the original Kamen Rider, I'm on episode 11 I think? It's pretty alright, kinda cheesy I guess and the special effects are laughable, but I don't dislike anything about it. It's fun. |

Anyway, as for me...OOO 3 Boy Ankh still isn't a nice guy, and the concept of Yummies taking people as hosts is interesting. Also, Kougami was great.
