I'm still upset the Endless Waltz versions are the only ones recognized now because they were retconned in.

I honestly don't know. In the U.S., I presume more people have seen the Wing show then Endless Waltz, so they know the original designs.

Even if most of them aren't very different from the show, it still irks me that there aren't true show versions. Not to mention that despite being called "EW version", almost none of the kits they've done are actually from the movie. At least we're getting a Nataku now. BTW, didn't they call the Shenlong the Nataku in the dub?

Iirc Wufei called all his Gundams Nataku regardless of true name.
It was on honor of his deceased wife.

You want to know one reason why Gundam Wing is bad? That context isn't even in the show, it's in a separate manga. It was gonna be in a pair of episodes but production fucked it up and had to do recap episodes instead.
