				 | Quote: I never watch the new Gatchaman series. I'm always a fan of the original series and the 90's OVA. The characters designs in the new show turn me off. I'm not sure how good the show is it or not. I always been a fan of Gatchaman since CN played re-runs of G-Force like 20 something years ago. Between Crowds, Casshern Sins and Yatterman Night Tatsunoko have been knocking it out of the park with their reboots.

Oh cool. Tatsunoko has rebooted Casshern a while ago and I didn't like how Cashern Sins turn out. So when I saw the news for a new Gatchaman show, I felt a bit iffy on it. I still give it a watch soon.

Gatchaman Crowds is great. The ending of the first season is...not good. But the director's cut makes up for it quite a bit. Insight, though, has been fantastic. It's not much of a superhero show anymore (though I imagine it'll start picking up again towards the end on that front...probably), but it's great. |

While I agree on it not really being a superhero show, I do think Insight has so far provided a better balance with its political/superhero stuff. At least as far as sheer spectacle goes anyway.

I also saw Akame ga Kill! on Toonami and it was really cool. I can't wait to watch more.

Shimoneta has been on a roll still. Fuwa is probably my favorite character and it's a really hard choice to pick since nearly all of the female characters are fantastic in Shimoneta. also, Anna is probably the funniest nympho I have ever seen.
