Seeing it up close, I do like it a lot better. I'm glad that the shuriken symbols are on both sides of the Blue Dragon and the Gold Carp, I was worried they were only on one side.

The component mecha all look much better than I thought, with the exception of the turtle, where I wish they had done a little bit more to hide the robot face. I will say that I really like the dragon and the phoenix, but the rest are nice too.

The combined form is quite cohesive and it's fairly proportionate. I love how the Phoenix combines, it's reminiscent of the old robos like the Ninja Megazord. It's not a bad combined form.

Overall, not too bad, though I will say that I like the earlier two, Shurikenjin and Bison King, better.

Huh. This thing has some very BOA style pegs where the arms attach, doesn't it.

They're standard BOJ pegs, just like on Bison King and Shurikenjin.
