A monster attack leaves Shelby< Tyler, and Riley trapped beneath ground with only Chase to save them. Can he master the new Charger before his friends become Ranger Flavored Pancakes?

Pretty much by the numbers filler that offers little in the way of plot-furthering substance. Fury is still MIA, but the monster Gold Digger is definitely interesting, even though I have no idea why he was used here as it didn't offer any thing regarding "buried treasure" which, by the end of the episode, you feel should have been central to the episode.

This was a great episode. I enjoyed seeing the Dino Armor X in action and hope it appears again. Does anyone know if there is going to be Dino Charge next week?

Next week Nick is airing "The Ghostest with the Mostest," the Dino Charge Hallowen Special. While technically a new episode, it probably will have no bearing on the plot.

But at least one member of the team will be otherwise occupied...

Why is this thread so small? I know the shows rating are dropping (I haven't been watching post hiatus myself) but are people not watching or is there not enough to discuss.

Better names for Dino X Armor:

Black Super Mode
Black Drill Grander
Black Gator Armor
Black Mode Orange (You're welcome, Uchi)
Spiral Armor Black
Super Dino Steel

My only other real complaint is the same I've had before. That damn voice whenever they use their batteries, morph, or do anything. It's monotone, and bland, and I hate it with a Fury-us passion. Along with Dino Charge Megazord Tricera-Stego-Ptera formation which is just to damned long for the name of a Zord. Or for anything, really. Want suggestions? Alright.

I did enjoy the episode, those nitpicks aside. I loved the interactions between Shelby and Chase and can see that developing into something else down the line, loved Ivan was so damned happy about earning a dollar tip. And it was nice seeing Wench being badass for a change.

Speaking of Wench and Poisondra, I wonder if they're going to address the footage from Kyoryuger of Aigallon and Candelira and his love for her. Including his death later on in the series. Where he died, Chaos brings him back as a sort of zombie because his armor is so thick his soul can't escape to hell. And then his true death at the end where Ian uses Deinosgrander to break his armor open, and that masterful scene where he takes his ax and kills that bastard cloak wearing bastard. Which is still my favorite scene in all of Kyoryuger. Being PR I doubt whatever they do with the footage will have that kind of emotional impact, but I still wonder if they plan to use the footage. And how.

I think Super Dino Steel would've been a better name than Dino Armor X.
