I don't understand the dislike for Dairanger either. Yes, I think it is the greatest Sentai series ever made, but that is because there is so much going for it, one of which is the lack of filler. Only 6 episodes of the entire show is filler-related, making it the most plot driven series of any Sentai. That alone makes it hard for me to comprehend why anyone would not like it, especially when I see comments about it not being like for its filler even though only like 23 episodes are filler.

While I didn't enjoy the first two episodes (all that i've seen of it) from what I've heard, the plot sounds pretty awesome. I also really love all of the suit designs.
The biggest turn-off with that show for me though is the opening theme, I can't stand it. Usually people seem to love the theme...what are your thoughts on it? Am I crazy?

Music is always subjective, so you'll never find a general consensus on whether a theme is good or bad.
Though you do realize the opening theme is basically the one thing you can always skip without missing anything, right? ![]()

Well, enjoyability (that's not a word...) of a Sentai is subjective too, but people tend to prefer certain series to others
![]() And who skips the opening theme? What kind of savage do you take me for?

The kind that would be willing to skip one minute of a show to enjoy the remaining 21.

However, there are plenty of shows I love that I found the opening theme to be subpar. Hell, the original Gundam opening theme is absolutely atrocious to listen to. The only time I listen to the opening theme is the first episode I start for the day. As such, I may get through 20 episodes without the opening theme because I won't watch it again until the next time I start watching the show. |

Honestly, there's 3 occasions where I'll listen to the opening theme of any series.
1. First viewing 2. Major status quo shift (I wanna see if it changes/I already know it's changed so I wanna see the new theme) 3. Final episode Other than that, I don't see the point in watching what I've already seen time and time again. And unlike morphing or transformation sequences, I also know the exact point in the episode where I can skip to~
