Toei wouldn't come after him, that's the "automated" part. Youtube's copyright system is incredibly broken. If the system detects copyrighted(copywritten?) footage/audio, it automatically claims or strikes a video/channel without a single human making a decision.

Though even borders wouldn't stop random companies from falsely claiming ad revenue on Toei's behalf, even if he wasn't running ads. There have been people who have had their videos claimed by fake companies for music that the video maker made themselves. Most insultingly, the claiming companies do so on behalf f thsoe people. These fake companies get free money with zero legality behind it.

Youtube's broken, dude. You gotta be careful and make every effort to bypass the nonsense, even if you're verified or backed by the real corperations, unless you're a giant channel Youtube won't even acknowledge you exist.
