Seems like it's gonna be packed in with the Blu Ray release of the movie...still, I wonder how this came to be? Like, is Ted a popular movie over there or something? Cause there's a lot of context I'm just not seeing right now.

Ted was very popular in Japan. Kojima Haruna of AKB48 helped promote it and a fan club(yes, Ted had a fan club in Japan). Taka Tomy put out some toy vinyls. There were promotional gimmicks for Japanese Hotsprings with tie-ins to Ted. Kumamoto Prefecture's bear mascot 'met' Ted.

That's just promotional stuff before and after the movie hit. The move itself was the largest opening for any R rated comedy in Japan ever. It stayed at the no. 1 for a full month, made the equivalent of 44 million USD, and is still the highest grossing comedy ever in Japan.

Been a while since I got an anime Figma. And I do like DRRR... So why the hell not. Ordering.

Neat. Was tempted to pick this up at one point but now it's probably going to be a pass from me. The summer months are looking to be pretty heavy and I'm not sure if I can justify this purchase - at least not as a preorder anyway.

It's pretty short and seems to have around 5 points of articulation. It'd be pretty crappy if he wasn't relatively cheap.
