Well, that's the point: A modern take. However, Zyuohger is not so much a modern take of something but could just be a retro opening. For the last decade, at least. 90s and before, not so much. But I think it would have worked for Gaoranger or Gekiranger too.
While Gaoranger's theme is so early 2000's, it probably wouldn't work that well today.
