Times have changed though, and censorship was a lot stricter back then compared to now. Hell, a show like Walking Dead probably wouldn't have even made it to air as it is.

I watched episodes 6-17 of the original this morning. Things have finally started to pick up and I forgot how awesome Rambal Ral is. A shame I am nearing his end. I also have to say that I really enjoyed the episodes where some of the refugees leave and the moment with the mother and son was quite touching, especially when she finds out the truth about her dead husband's hometown. The episode with Icelina wanting to get revenge for Garma's death is still something that I wish had been done in the movie version, but it wouldn't work since that would require developing more than just Amuro and Char.
