I don't dig the suits (yet), and Ishiguro Hideo plays the protagonist? Interesting. I hated Kai in Den-O, but more because of how lazy they shoehorned a bud guy into the last couple of episodes which made no sense. His acting wasn’t bad so I'm willing to give him a chance in this show and forget about Kai.

Also, Ultraman X's director? The more people from Ultraman X working on this the better.

So is this supposed to be the Gokaiger/Decade of the Ultra series?

I haven't watched anything Ultra except for the first Ultraman series. Tbh I don't think I could picture the premise without the goofy glory of the Showa era.
