Yeah its weird as hell that Chaser gets an exclusive release but Gold Drive is retail but I don't mind at all. Love Gold Drive and def getting this.

Now I have to track down a Kamen Rider Chaser that isn't the price of a piece of land.

My theory is that whoever made this decision doesn't know that Gold Drive is a different character than Kamen Rider Drive.

I'm in favor of just about anything being a retail release; web exclusives raise my blood pressure.

I might consider picking it up. I'd like a Drive villain other than Mashin Chaser, and I really don't like the design of Heart. I doubt Bandai will ever make a Roidmude (the base Roidmude designs were killer), so it's looking like Gold Drive might be my only option.

I mentioned this elsewhere, but it's likely due to the fact that Drive was very well received in Japan and Banno himself seems to have been rather popular, receiving a lot of merchandise after the show ended.

There's also the fact that this is basically a repaint of Type Speed, it would have been very cheap to produce, so it's more worthwhile for them to take the risk on making it a mass retail release.

Weird how its a retail release but chaser wasn't. Im not complaining. Happy to have him. Wish he came with a busted driver and additional signal AX.
