Like the title says, just how close are Shinkenger and Power Rangers Samurai?
List as many as you can!

Samurai also lacks a lot of the Japanese culture references and such. I thought it was pretty amusing(albeit kinda stupid) that they tried to Americanize something that is fundamentally Japanese.

The first episode of Samurai that aired, where Mike's friends get hurt ... they literally copied everything from Shinkenger - even how Mike turns away from the arcade game is the same as ShinkenGreen in Shinkenger. I mean ... how bad is that?

A lot of episodes in Samurai just seemed copy and paste to me.

Some episodes copy shinkenger wholesale, and like others have mentioned "The team unites" seem like the just replaced "Chiaki" with "Mike" and did nothing else to the script.

Though the show has been getting better with setting itself apart later in season 1 and the Red Rangers movie.
