I can't agree with this at all, Zyuranger has some awesome designs. They look a lot more modern than some of the other designs from that era.

You don't understand.
Removing the cards does not change much anything at all. It merely changes how the action works. It would not be like Gingaman just because Alata isn't inserting a card to shoot a fireball.

You need to change a lot more than just the gimmick to make a series more resemble another show. This is akin to saying Ninninger would be more like Kakuranger if they removed the shuriken.
