I haven't seen enough of Lupin to say. Caught it once or twice on Adult Swim back in the day, but I think that's about it.

That's not the same series. There have been four Lupin III shows since the 70s. The one this guy did aired last year and it was pretty universally acclaimed.

There's nothing even remotely toku related about it though. Lupin III's a show about thieves who travel the world but it serves as a pretty good character show.
