A Space Themed Sentai sound like a refresh Sentai show because it's NOT another Dinosaur Sentai or another Ninja Sentai.

This could be a TRUE Sci-Fi Sentai show because Kyoryuger and Zyuohger was a mix of Fantasy and Sci-Fi while ToQger and Ninninger was a Fantasy one with little bit element of sci-fi stuff

We don't have any information so far. We don't even know that Kyu means 9 in this context. So maybe let's not be so rigorous about people's idle speculation.

Here are my speculations:
Depending on the kanji kyu can also mean ball or orb, hence Chikyu meaning Earth.
Planets are round and I have a feeling if the above is what they intend orbs will be the key item. And I will not rule out the possibility if the roster being 9 ultimately yet.We could get a Kyoryuger pulled on us.
