Im pretty sure the base team, nowadays would be the ones initially in mecha. Anyone else would be secondary or support. (just a Guess)

Really hoping for a return of the classic 80's mecha designs. This year has been interesting but not at all what I really wanted. A space theme has me encouraged...

No, Akito was there right from the get go, he just couldn't use his powers for the first few episodes. It was still four rangers to start though.

OMg that's the first thing i thought off as well. what if they do a ohranger that is tech fueled buy old magic. Where each ranger gets his power from the Roman god each plaent was named from and the mecha are spaceshipes with some element from the god lore in the desing? i may asking for too much in that.
