So did GUIS when they decided to do Gokaiger and they barely made it to the halfway mark.

Don't get me wrong, I'm rooting for Excite Subs; as the only non-TVN option right now they automatically have my viewership. A weekly series is rough, though, and not every group can make it work. Hopefully, these guys are more like W-Time than Orange Lion.

I've noticed the toku fansubbing community seems to shy away from projects that other teams are handling. All the failed groups who had dropped projects, 9 times out of 10, were doing shows that were already being subbed by someone else. So maybe in GUIS's case they noticed Over-Time was subbing it and stopped to focus more on the pre-Zyu series?

With no, for lack of a better term, "competition" hopefully Excite Subs can finish the show off.

GUIS can't even commit to Flashman and Changeman, so I wouldn't want them touching anything current.

I remember they didn't want to sub Gaim due to them being burn out by Wizard. I guess they got burn out by Ghost too.

If I recall though, they only skipped Gaim because the Aesir dude already set himself to do it before they had even decided. As such, they figured why do it when there was a third option.

I just hope that this Excite group is legit so I don't have to deal with Nihon's delayed subs. At least for the first episode since I want to review it.
