well me and another toku friend are having an argument about this. i say that figuarts even though they are not to be thrown around the house, can be played with and used as a toy. he says that they are "statues that can change poses and prefer to use them only as a display to preserve their longevity*

I say toy because it's very hard to find a statue of Kamen Rider Meteor doing the disco while Fourze tangoes with Nadeshiko.

While I don't play with my figurarts like toys, my son has a few of Figuarts and he plays with them all the time, they are definitely toys, high-end toys, but toys none-the-less

I can see him thinking this about the more expensive, more delicate and highly-breakable SIC's-- but not Figuarts. Not only are they made to be posed, but they can even be played with! (As Sentai Tamashii stated.)

Just say'n, statues usually don't move unless they're possessed.
