Sure you could just get one of GTS/wonder trade later, but for some its not the same as having it as your actual starter Pokemon.

Yes, for Hidden Power, as Hyper Training doesn't affect Hidden Power. If you used Hidden Power Fire, your speed stat wouldn't be as high as it could be due to HP Fire required imperfect speed IVs. As Bottle Caps are 1 stat at a time and need Level 100, breeding is a much quicker alternative if you can do it. There's also the fact you can't reduce the stats, so if you want low speed for Gyro Ball or low attack for Foul Play, you still need to breed for that

I just realized something: Am I the only one who sees the Origami Ultra Beast and is reminded of Papyrox/Kirigami from Super Samurai/Shinkenger?!

If I'm able to nickname the Ultra Beasts I think I know what I'm nicknaming that one...

Question for people who watch VGC. Does the Pokemon company upload their streams of VGC? I REALLY want to see the VGC tournament coming up in a few weeks for SM

Although breeding is the faster method, I think I'll settle for the Hyper training, since it probably won't make me want to kill myself.
