Surprised to see that one of the Hoenn frontier brains is back. I like how they play the original emerald rendition of the frontier brain battle theme as oposed to the ORAS rendition.

I do. Usually I pay homage to the TCG and add "EX" or "LVX" to my Pokémon names, but there's others I gave unique nicknames.

Some examples include Transformers nicknames such as "Ratbat" for my Swoobat, "Soundwave" for my Seismitoad, and "Laserbeak" for my Mandibuzz. I also have other funny nicknames including nicknaming my Throh and Sawk "Ernie" and "Bert" and my Pangoro "Po". And of course when I get Moon there'll be " Vitaly", my Incineroar, and "Ariel", my Primarina.

Wait, so do you mean you're only given one at a time? Like, if you use it you can go back to get another, even without exploits? Because with so many UBs (what is it like 11 per game?) I can't see you only getting one of the only ball you can use with them.

...unless I'm misunderstanding something and you can catch UBs in other balls. Just like. With low catch rates or something.

You're supposed to only get 1 as a maximum, but the exploit allows you to get more
There's 5 UBs per version, and they can be caught in other balls iirc

That's weird. I guess they just function as Master Balls for UBs?

And yeah there are 5 types of UBs, but apparently there's not only one of each. I read there's for instance 4 Pheromosas in Moon and 4 Kartanas in Sun, 2 Buzzwoles, 2 Celesteelas, 2 Nihilegos...some....nuber of Xurkitrees. I think Guzzlord is the only one you only get one of. So you have a lot to catch.

Also apparently Mareanie isn't the only one stuck with a 1% appearance rate. Bruxish and Dhelmise are too. Annoying, but...apparently rippling water is back, and that has increased chances.
So that's good...but I really don't understand why they would make three of the new Pokemon so rare. This gen is already pretty small, restricting access to what few new Pokemon there are seems like a boneheaded move.
