I was just wondering, do you think that Adness entertainment (the guys who did Kamen Rider Dragon Knight) will do another Rider series? Do you think it will be likely and if so, what series do you want it to be and which show do you realistically think it would be (i.e. because of toy sales, age, e.t.c.)?

I personally don't think that Adness will try again after it failed when competing against Power Rangers on its death bed in terms of ratings when RPM was on. Especially now with Power Rangers Samurai and Super Samurai being big hits along with Megaforce being expected to be just as big, I don't think Adness is going to have it be worth a try. Though if it is likely, I would like to see an adaptation of Kamen Rider Wizard and see how Adness spins the phantom smasher and the story they would come up with. Realistically, it would most likely be either Kamen Rider OOO or Double (Cause toy sales will go through the roof!) |

I don't imagine Adness doing much more with Kamen Rider. It's not like a block on the CW was the greatest for toy sales or anything, and I don't imagine things getting any better with Faiz or whatever series they would continue with. Now, the company I could imagine taking up Kamen Rider in this situation is Saban. We still haven't seen anything out of that "Power Rider" trademark, so there's potential in that. We just might have to wait some time for any development.

			It's possible.

Steve Wang's "The Guyver" failed, but he kept at it and he made another Guyver movie and he worked on Dragon Knight. His perseverance has done these things. Dragon Knight also did very well despite the fact that it was fighting an uphill battle. I think that it has left a good impression that allows future Kamen Rider works to be adapted. The Wang brothers said that they thought that they would adapt something else if given the chance, but we haven't seen something new. We only know that Dragon Knight was a success in Japan. Kabuto would be good for the visuals and it honestly needs a good story. |

Dragon Knight was let down by Budgetary issues. Maybe with Samurai doing so wonderfully, somehow, we might get another series. My hope is Wizard. Shabdoobie!

@ Sentai: I seriously doubt Samurai could be considered doing all right. But it's doing OK, I guess.

The way things are right now, I doubt we'll get a Kamen Rider series on our shores until the later 2010s. |

Yea, it can. Have you seen the toy sales? That's what all these shows are measured by.

Considering the love for invincible heroes here in the West, I think a series such as Kabuto could work (In addition to giving toy sellers a large cast of characters to sell, without having to shove 13 characters, 2 upgrades, and 15 monsters onto toy shelves). Maybe with only 7/10 characters they wouldn't make shit toys, either...

From what I can gather, the show itself was a hit. Most of the blame for pulling the plug and why we won't see any official DVDs can fall on 4kidsTV's shoulders pretty much.
