Has anyone seen Changerion? Is it any good? Is anyone working on subs for it?

I ask because it seems to be the one show Toshiki Inoue head-wrote for Toei that doesn't appear to be subbed yet. And it's circa 1996, which means it was written in Inoue's prime!

I'd watch the hell out of this show if a group started subbing this. I know that BunnyHat has encoded the raws.

FWIW, the main dude's (Changerion's?) design is pretty sickening...

The design reminds me a bit of the VRV Master/Phantom Ranger.

Cool! I'll be on the lookout for them. Fingers crossed this is their next project after Bycrosser.

EDIT: I just reached out to them on Twitter. They said they're planning on releasing next year! Hopefully that means sooner rather than later.

Despite having an infamous head writer attached to it, Changerion is a fairly obscure show. Going by all two people that I know have watched it and know Japanese, it's an interesting show to say the least. Having gone through some of the raws, I'm inclined to agree with them.

I'm also really glad that Big Nova is taking this on. It'll be great to have something other than those terrible joke subs. Frankly, I'm baffled as to why somebody felt the need to add joke subs onto Changerion. It's silly enough on its own.

Big Nova have released the first 2 episodes of Changerion. It seems kind of cool.

Early Inoue - yes, we've been beating up on him recently but, he did Jetman, which was brilliant. It's definitely a bizarro looking show.

Yeah, I can overlook a lot, because Inoue wrote Jetman. That and Agito. Also, that AWESOME poker episode of Garo Makai Senki with Kaixa playing a horror.

The only pre-Decade Rider show I didn't finish was Den-O, which wasn't one of his. Make of that what you will.
