Yup. But not for the reason he's implying. The first batch of episodes are a bit slow. The Warstar are easily the weakest villains of the show. Once you reach the Yuuma you will see the show take a dramatic turn to the positive. As with any sentai it has it's fair share of character growth filler episodes.

I suppose I have a biased point of view since I enjoyed most of the things about the show. The ranger suit designs (even including the Super Goseiger modes), the incredibly good music, the mecha designs were awesome even if the Headder gimmick was a little too gimmicky. It really is a fun show with so much energy compared to something like Shinkenger which I found to be pretty boring and stale.

I quite liked the Warstar, I just felt their potential was a bit wasted. If anything it was the Yuumajuu that bored me to tears.

They just seemed so underwhelming as villains. I much more enjoyed Kingugon and Makuin. They felt like they had way more personality than Mons Drake and Dereputa, they actually felt like a threat.

What he said. However, from what I've heard OhRanger is really good and dark until a bomb went off on a Tokyo subway. I've been told the show then turns into a comedy that almost got Sentai canceled. I've always wanted to see it just to find out how things went down. Plus, OhRed is awesome.

That said, Zeo is a pretty darn good season of PR. It features Bulk and Skull as detectives and that's probably my favorite role for them. In fact, Zeo made me believe Bulk and Skull could carry their own show (which Saban was considering at the time).

While I can't quite comment on OhRanger's quality, if it did bad enough to almost get canned, then it's probably not a stretch to say that Zeo is one of the PR seasons that's superior to it's Sentai counterpart.
